Ahmedabad, Jan 25 (NationPress) Gujarat Police has enacted rigorous security protocols for the Coldplay concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium, set to take place on January 25 and 26 in Ahmedabad.
With a massive turnout anticipated, the performance by the British rock band will feature one of the most comprehensive security setups seen in recent years.
An official stated that more than 3,800 police officers have been assigned, complemented by a specialized team from the National Security Guard (NSG).
“Additionally, over 400 CCTV cameras have been installed to provide continuous monitoring of the venue and surrounding areas,” he noted.
The official elaborated that police units equipped with metal detectors will be positioned at entry points, while plainclothes officers will discreetly monitor the crowd.
The concert at the Narendra Modi Stadium is set to start at 5:30 PM and conclude by 10 PM. To bolster security efforts, a significant contingent of female police personnel has been assigned to various checkpoints and entrances, ensuring the safety and support of attendees.
