The department reported that approximately 3,500 police personnel, comprising 12 Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and over 35 Inspectors, along with additional forces equipped with essential security tools, have been stationed throughout the city.

The Gurugram Police have established 11 permanent checkpoints and an additional 41 special checkpoints.

A total of 55 police personnel are assigned to the 11 permanent checkpoints, while 277 police personnel are allocated to the 41 special checkpoints.

Furthermore, the traffic police have also set up 41 checkpoints.

Four contingents of the Gurugram Police will participate in the Republic Day parade across various locations in the Gurugram district, which will include 120 police personnel.

A comprehensive security grid featuring three layers of police personnel will be in place both inside and outside the venue.

Approximately 1,000 police personnel will be stationed in and around the stadium, which is expected to host ministers, bureaucrats, and the general public during the celebrations.

Additionally, PCR riders will conduct patrols throughout the city.

"There will be rigorous inspections of all commercial and private vehicles entering the city from neighboring districts and states at border entry points. Special checking operations have commenced at railway stations, Metro stations, bus terminals, markets, malls, PG accommodations, and border areas," stated Commissioner of Police Vikas Arora.

To ensure smooth traffic flow, the Gurugram Police have devised an alternate route plan.

A substantial police presence will be maintained at Bilaspur Chowk, Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, Farrukhnagar, Hero Honda Chowk, Shankar Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, Signature Tower Chowk, Panchgaon Chowk, Manesar Chowk, Sirhaul Border, Udyog Vihar, and Kherki Daula toll plaza along the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway.

"Should any individual or group engage in inappropriate behavior during this festive occasion, the Gurugram Police will take immediate action in accordance with regulations," Commissioner Vikas Arora asserted.

Alongside these measures, numerous police points and security checkpoints have been established at the district's borders and in heavily populated areas. Police personnel will remain deployed until the conclusion of the Republic Day event.

Quick Response Teams (QRTs) and senior police officials have been positioned in high-traffic areas to prevent any attempts by anti-social elements to disturb the peace. A total of 10 PCRs will be stationed near the stadium.

"The police personnel on duty will monitor parking zones. A team from the police intelligence and crime units will also oversee operations under surveillance," he added.
