Gurugram: More Than 100,000 Complaints Filed with 97,000 Resolved in 2024

Gurugram, Jan 1 (NationPress) The Gurugram Police reported a total of 1,03,655 complaints received via different platforms, with 97,896 complaints resolved by the district police and 5,759 pending complaints currently under investigation in 2024.

As per police officials, these complaints were submitted through multiple channels, including 693 complaints received at the Police Commissioner's Office via various commissions (NHRC, HHRC, NCW, HSWC, NCPCR, HCPCR), of which 664 complaints have been resolved and 29 complaints are still under investigation.

Additionally, a total of 1,642 complaints were lodged at the Gurugram Police Commissioner's Office through the office of the Director General of Police, Haryana, with 1,635 complaints resolved and seven complaints under investigation.

Moreover, 8,390 complaints were received at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Gurugram, with all being successfully resolved.

In the same vein, 12,559 complaints were submitted via email, all of which were addressed by the Gurugram Police, according to the police report.

The city law enforcement also handled 919 complaints during public hearings at the Police Commissioner's Office, with 829 resolved and 90 still under investigation.

In 2024, the Gurugram Police received 282 complaints through the Resolution Cell/District Deputy Commissioner of Gurugram, with 260 complaints resolved and 22 being investigated.

Furthermore, 1,310 complaints were lodged through the Centralised Public Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS/PM Window), of which 1,239 complaints have been resolved and 71 complaints are under investigation.

In addition, approximately 1,815 complaints were received via the Chief Minister Window (CM Window), with 1,680 resolved and 135 still being investigated.

In 2024, around 7,4650 complaints were received through the Harsamay Portal (CCTNS/Police Stations), where 69,280 complaints were resolved and 5,370 complaints are pending investigation.

Lastly, 1,395 complaints arrived through Social Media Grievances, with 1,360 complaints resolved and 35 complaints are still under investigation.
