Congress' Delhi Nyay Yatra Reaches 68th Assembly District on Second Last Day

New Delhi, Dec 6 (NationPress) The Congress' Delhi Nyay Yatra traversed the 68th Assembly segment on Friday, where former Deputy Chief Minister and PCC president of Rajasthan Sachin Pilot teamed up with DPCC President Devender Yadav to connect with the community in the Badli constituency.

Residents in Yadav’s own Assembly region, Badli, greeted the yatra with tremendous enthusiasm on its penultimate day, pledging their full support for the Congress party's return to power in Delhi, as stated in an announcement.

Yadav remarked that throughout the 29 days of the Delhi Nyay Yatra leading up to Friday, he engaged with a diverse group of individuals who expressed their struggles and challenges.

People conveyed to him that only a Congress government could rectify the injustices caused by the AAP Government and the BJP, which has only engaged in destructive politics while neglecting the populace, he commented.

Yadav emphasized that during the Congress administration, the Badli Assembly area saw numerous development projects, including Metro services, sports facilities, schools, community centers, and housing for the underprivileged; however, everything has declined since Kejriwal took office.

He noted that residents have endured hardships for several years as all development initiatives have come to a standstill and welfare programs for the people have been impeded.

On Friday, the Nyay Yatra commenced from Ramdev Chowk, Narela, where Yadav received a warm welcome. He paid homage to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his death anniversary before the yatra began from Narela.

Joining Yadav in the yatra within the Badli Assembly were Punjab PCC chief and MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, as well as AICC secretary in charge of Delhi and Uttarakhand MLA Qazi Nizamuddin.

Labeling Kejriwal as an “imposter,” Yadav stated that he emerged in Delhi 11 years ago, vowing to eradicate corruption, tackle rising prices, address unemployment, enhance the Capital’s infrastructure and civic services, and provide complimentary water and electricity; however, he has only led the populace to despair.

The Delhi Congress leader asserted that, under the guise of providing free water, Kejriwal delivered contaminated water, citizens faced inflated electricity bills, the underprivileged were denied ration cards, the state of government schools and hospitals has deteriorated, roads remain in disrepair, air and water pollution has reached a health crisis level, and the declining law and order situation has jeopardized the peaceful living of residents.

He remarked that both Kejriwal and the BJP have exchanged accusations without taking the necessary steps to resolve the issues plaguing the city and its inhabitants.

Yadav pointed out that the AAP, currently in power in Delhi and the Municipal Corporation, along with the BJP at the national level, have made no attempts to address the grievances of the people.
