New Delhi, May 21 (NationPress) The pattern of contentious remarks made by Congress leaders amidst Operation Sindoor is not merely accidental or a misstep; it is a deliberate and meticulously orchestrated effort aimed at inciting anti-India sentiments, asserted BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi on Wednesday.
Trivedi ridiculed Congress head Mallikarjun Kharge for labeling Operation Sindoor as a ‘chutput’ (minor) conflict, indicating a twisted mentality within the INDIA bloc.
He further emphasized that remarks made by Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and others from the INDIA bloc are essentially fueling Pakistan and bolstering its anti-India propaganda.
“Simply adopting the name INDIA bloc does not equate to genuine patriotism. Their statements resonate with Pakistani media and its government, being utilized to advance an anti-India narrative globally,” he noted.
Trivedi highlighted Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's acknowledgment of Indian missiles striking their Nur Khan airbase, asserting, "Leaders of the INDIA bloc persist in denial and are fixated on criticizing our own forces."
He accused Congress leaders of showing little regard for the armed forces, claiming their recent actions demonstrate how they cater to anti-India elements.
According to him, leaders within the INDIA bloc, including Rahul Gandhi, have gained popularity on Pakistani channels.
“The INDIA bloc is merely a façade. The way its leaders are featured on Pakistani media, it increasingly resembles the Popular Front of Pakistan,” stated Sudhanshu Trivedi.
“There is fierce competition within the Congress party to gain favor on Pakistani channels. Their leaders seem to be racing to garner higher TRP on Pakistani media,” he added.
