Delhi BJP to Launch ‘Parivartan Yatra’ on December 8

New Delhi, Dec 1 (NationPress) The Delhi BJP has revealed its intention to commence a parallel “Parivartan Yatra” across all seven Lok Sabha constituencies on December 8. During this event, party members will march alongside local residents to gather feedback on their concerns.

With the slogan “Das saal Dilli Behal” (Delhi suffering for 10 years), Satish Upadhyay, the convener of the Parivartan Yatra Committee, stated that prominent national leaders will participate in the march, which aims to showcase the alleged shortcomings of the AAP government in light of the upcoming Assembly elections in January-February.

The march will occur in two phases: starting at 8 a.m. in the morning and 5 p.m. in the evening, culminating in large public gatherings each night in the respective constituencies, as shared by Upadhyay, a former chief of Delhi BJP.

According to him, voters in Delhi have already decided to dismiss the corrupt and chaotic AAP government.

“We are still finalizing the details and schedule of the march, which will be communicated to the public in the next three to four days,” Upadhyay informed IANS, mentioning that Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) will contribute suggestions for enhancing city services.

Delhi BJP President Virender Sachdeva emphasized that the recent arrest of an AAP MLA for extortion will be spotlighted to illustrate corruption within the AAP.

“It’s a betrayal of democracy that an AAP elected representative is involved in extortion,” he remarked.

In response to Arvind Kejriwal’s statement about not aligning with Congress in the Assembly elections, Sachdeva asserted, “The BJP will remain unaffected whether AAP joins forces with Congress or operates independently. We are poised to reclaim power in Delhi and serve its citizens.”

“Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we will dedicate ourselves to the public with the principle of ‘Seva Hi Samarpan’,” Sachdeva added.

When asked about AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s claims regarding worsening law and order in Delhi, Sachdeva suggested that the ruling party should first account for the fatalities occurring in the city due to flooding and sewage issues.

He dismissed AAP’s law and order accusations as mere diversionary tactics and questioned Kejriwal regarding the 252 deaths recorded over the past year due to various incidents reflecting governmental negligence.

Sachdeva noted that 34 individuals drowned due to water logging, 16 people perished from electrocution, seven children were tragically killed in an unauthorized hospital, 15 inmates died in Asha Kiran home, and nearly 180 homeless individuals lost their lives due to the cold.
