New Delhi, Sep 29 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday for his decisive actions regarding Operation Sindoor, Surgical Strike, Article 370, and Triple Talaq. “PM Modi's strong decisions serve as a source of inspiration for all party members,” she stated during the inauguration of a new office for the Delhi BJP.
She expressed pride in the fact that the new Delhi BJP office is being inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi.
According to her, this new facility will motivate the party cadre and empower them to serve the public and the party effectively.
Prior to the inauguration, PM Modi acknowledged the historical struggles of city leaders and expressed hope that the new office would rejuvenate the party.
In a social media post on platform X, he mentioned, “The history of BJP workers in Delhi is a remarkable example of resilience and commitment. Despite numerous challenges, they have not only preserved the organization but also made significant contributions to its growth.”
“I am confident that this permanent office will provide new strength, direction, and renewed confidence to the organization,” he added.
Earlier in the day, CM Gupta, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and other leaders offered prayers at the new office located at 5, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, just a short distance from the National BJP office.
The new Delhi BJP office, constructed in a five-storey South Indian architectural style, spans approximately 825 square meters.
The basement includes car parking, while the ground floor features a conference room, reception area, and canteen. The first floor hosts an auditorium with a capacity for 300 attendees. The second floor contains rooms for various party fronts and staff.
The third floor is allocated for the offices of the state vice president, general secretary, and secretary. The fourth floor accommodates leaders from other states, while the fifth floor is designated for the state BJP president, state organization general secretary, and the offices of Delhi MPs.
The journey of the state BJP or Jan Sangh leaders began in Naya Bazar after Independence. In the days of Jana Sangh, political activities were conducted from the office in Naya Bazar in the Walled City. Subsequently, the first office established after the inception of the BJP was located in Ajmeri Gate. It later moved to 20, Rakabganj Road before finally settling at 14, Pandit Pant Marg near Parliament, where it has remained for the past 35 years.
