New Delhi, March 12 (NationPress) Delhi Cabinet Minister and Janakpuri MLA Ashish Sood made a visit to his Assembly constituency in Janakpuri on Wednesday, where he actively interacted with local residents, attentively listening to their complaints and grievances.
Arriving at Chanakya Palace on a scooter, Sood connected directly with the community, reassuring them that their issues would be addressed promptly.
As an MLA, he stated, "It is my duty to comprehend and tackle the challenges my constituents face. I have come here today, accompanied by officials from various departments to secure solutions," Sood remarked while speaking to IANS.
When asked about the legal challenges surrounding Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Sood commented, "Whatever unfolds will adhere to the law, constitution, and justice. I cannot intervene in that. My focus today is on my work and resolving the issues of my constituency."
Highlighting the dedication of the BJP-led "double-engine government" in Delhi, he further stated, "We are striving to meet the needs of the people and enhance the national capital. Officials from all pertinent departments are here, and we will ensure that residents' concerns are addressed."
On the previous day, Tuesday, Sood, alongside Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, took part in a dialogue session with educators at the Delhi Secretariat. The session aimed to collect suggestions for enhancing the education system in the city.
During the discussion, Sood reaffirmed the BJP government's pledge to the development of Delhi.
Speaking to IANS, he mentioned, "It is the duty of any government to formulate a budget that aligns with people's expectations."
"The Chief Minister has initiated steps to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for Delhi, and efforts are in progress to achieve this objective," the Cabinet Minister concluded.
