What major schemes will be launched during Seva Pakhwada starting Sep 17?

New Delhi, Sep 13 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on Saturday that a total of 75 significant schemes will be introduced during the 15-day Seva Pakhwada, commencing on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.

"On this day, the government will initiate the Seva Pakhwada, during which key schemes will be revealed daily for 15 days," the Chief Minister highlighted, emphasizing that this initiative is crucial for steering the capital towards the vision of a ‘Viksit Delhi’.

A special meeting took place on Saturday at the Delhi Secretariat, chaired by Chief Minister Gupta, to outline the preparations for the Seva Pakhwada, scheduled from September 17 to October 2.

Attendees included Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, Members of Parliament, Ministers of the Delhi Government, MLAs, Councillors, and party representatives.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister noted that since the BJP government took office in Delhi, special provisions have been made to celebrate Prime Minister Modi's birthday every year.

This event underscores the collaborative commitment of the Triple Engine Government (Central Government, Delhi Government, and Municipal Corporation). To this end, the government has committed to launching 75 new schemes and initiatives during the Seva Pakhwada. This decision, as she pointed out, aims to inject new energy and elevate Delhi's development trajectory, significantly contributing to the city's advancement towards becoming a ‘Viksit Delhi’.

Chief Minister Gupta further revealed that throughout the Seva Pakhwada, residents of Delhi can expect a new ‘gift’ each day. This could range from cleanliness initiatives, blood donation camps, to the foundation laying or inauguration of new schemes and the dedication of development projects, all designed to serve the public and executed with the active involvement of public representatives.

She expressed her belief that the next 15 days would mark a historic period for Delhi.

During the Seva Pakhwada, new benchmarks in development will be established, and fresh principles of good governance will be introduced, with ongoing initiatives dedicated to the populace.

She took pride in the remarkable preparations accomplished in a short span by the Ministers, officials, and departments of the government. Chief Minister Gupta also mentioned that in the last six months, neither she nor her Ministers had taken a single day off work. She attributed the completion of long-pending projects to this unwavering effort.

In this special meeting, Chief Minister Gupta specifically highlighted the ambitious Ayushman Arogya Mandir scheme, which will be launched during the Seva Pakhwada by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. She stated that this scheme will serve as a landmark in delivering quality healthcare services to the residents of Delhi.

The Chief Minister further affirmed that the Seva Pakhwada, commencing on the Prime Minister’s birthday, will serve as an inspiration not only for Delhi but for the entire nation.
