New Delhi, Aug 29 (NationPress) In a groundbreaking initiative, the Delhi government is set to commemorate the end of the monsoon season with a cultural extravaganza titled ‘Badariya: A Monsoon Farewell Festival’ on Monday at Central Park, Connaught Place. This announcement was made by Art, Culture and Language Minister Kapil Mishra, who also took the opportunity to assess facilities at various monuments for cultural events.
The festival will be organized by the Mata Chakeri Devi Foundation in conjunction with the Department of Art, Culture and Language, with backing from the Academy.
