A specialized team headed by Inspector Ram Singh Nathawat, which included Devendra Singh, Head Constable Mahavir Singh, Constable Jitendra Singh, and Hemant Sharma, acted on a tip regarding illegal drug distribution in Kotputli.
Responding to the intelligence, authorities executed a raid at a grocery store near the blacksmith camp in Transport Nagar, Kotputli, on the evening of September 8.
The store, owned by Manoj Kumar Jat (35), was discovered to be stocked with Proxyco-SPAS capsules. Upon further inquiry, Manoj disclosed additional inventory stored in a warehouse behind the shop. Authorities retrieved 48,576 capsules from both sites. Drug Control Officers Mukesh Chaudhary and Lata Bharti were present during the operation.
During questioning, Manoj revealed that the shipment was linked to Dr. Avinash Sharma (39), the owner of a clinic situated along the highway. Acting promptly, police conducted a search of the clinic and seized 1,240 narcotic capsules and 14 syrup bottles.
