Mumbai, May 27 (NationPress) Following the recent security incidents involving superstars Salman Khan and Saif Ali Khan, actor Aditya Roy Kapoor faced a similar scare when a female admirer from Dubai unlawfully entered his residence located in Rizvi Complex, Bandra West. Authorities reported that the woman was apprehended and a formal complaint was lodged, as confirmed by a Mumbai Police official on Tuesday.
The 47-year-old suspect, Gazala Zakaria Siddiqui, hailing from the Liwan area of Dubai, managed to enter Aditya’s home on Monday evening by deceiving the household staff, according to Khar police.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (Bandra Division), Adhikrao Pol, noted that Gazala provided vague replies when questioned about her intentions.
The FIR filed against her indicates that she misled the staff member, Sangeeta Pawer, into believing she was there to deliver gifts to the actor.
When asked if she had an appointment, Gazala claimed she had been invited at 6 p.m., police stated.
Upon Aditya’s return home, Gazala tried to approach him, but he didn’t recognize her and left after alerting his management team, who subsequently notified Khar Police.
This incident at the residence of the 39-year-old actor follows closely on the heels of a prior security breach involving Bollywood icon Salman Khan, where a woman attempted to trespass into his heavily secured Bandra residence, Galaxay Apartments, on May 21.
Isha Chabria, 36, was later arrested and has been placed in judicial custody.
The police investigation revealed that she falsely claimed to have been invited by Salman.
The Khar resident alleged that she had met Salman at a party six months prior, and he had invited her to his home.
This series of incidents has raised significant security concerns in Bollywood, especially following another incident where a fan, Jitendra Singh, attempted to breach security to meet Salman.
Salman remains under stringent security measures due to a reported death threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi related to the 1998 black buck poaching case.
These security breaches are being taken with utmost seriousness by law enforcement, particularly after the alarming knife attack on star Saif Ali Khan by an intruder at his residence.
