This operation resulted in the recovery of various stolen items, including knives, mobile phones, and a motorcycle.

According to a press statement from Kushal Pal Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Dwarka, the suspect has been named Mohit Sharma, residing in Mohan Garden, West Delhi. The police confirmed that they seized two button-operated knives, two stolen mobile phones, and one stolen motorcycle during the operation.

The arrest took place on April 6 when patrol officers from Mohan Garden Police Station noticed a suspicious person around 10:30 p.m. near Poswal Chowk, Uttam Nagar. Upon seeing the police, he attempted to flee. The official statement noted, “After observing the police team, he swiftly tried to escape.” However, the officers pursued and captured him, recovering a button-activated knife immediately.

A case was filed under the Arms Act (FIR No. 90/2026), and further inquiries were launched. During intense questioning, the suspect reportedly admitted to numerous thefts. Acting on his confession, the police recovered a stolen Pulsar motorcycle associated with a previous theft case registered at the Dabri police station.

Moreover, two mobile phones—one Motorola and the other Redmi—were also retrieved. Authorities confirmed that these devices were related to different e-FIRs filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Mohan Garden police station.
