The Chief Minister underscored the government's dedication to fostering the overall development of the youth, highlighting the significance of education, sports, music, and entrepreneurship.

He remarked that the state government remains devoted to improving infrastructure for educational institutions and has initiated the establishment of new colleges.
“The Captain Williamson Sangma State University, our first state university, stands as a testament to our government’s prioritization of the education sector,” he noted.

“We are developing robust sports infrastructures throughout the state. As we prepare for the upcoming National Games, we are strategizing to support our athletes. Next week, a meeting with all sports associations will be held to discuss interventions to aid and finance athletes readying for the national games,” he said.
