Srinagar, March 18 (NationPress) The J&K Waqf Board has officially released the schedule for Eid prayers in the union territory, which will take place on March 20 or 21, contingent upon the sighting of the moon.
In a comprehensive announcement, the Waqf Board stated, “On the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the primary congregational prayer will be conducted at the Asar-e-Shareef Dargah Hazratbal, located in Srinagar.”
The Board has also made arrangements for the prayer schedules at various mosques and shrines across the Valley and Jammu division.
Eid prayers at Asar-e-Shareef Dargah Hazratbal, Srinagar are scheduled for 10:30 a.m.. Other timings include 10:00 a.m. at Aasar-e-Shareef Jinab Sahab Soura, 9:30 a.m. at Ziyarat Hazrat Pir Dastagir Sahab (RA) Khanyar, and 11:00 a.m. at Khankhah-e-Moalla, Ameer-e-Kabir Hazrat Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA).
In addition, Eid prayers at Aasar-e-Shareef Shehri Kalash Pora will occur at 9:00 a.m.; Ziyarat Hazrat Makhdoom Sahab (RA) in Srinagar at 10:00 a.m.; and Ziyarat Hazrat Khawaja Nagashband Sahab (RA) Khawaja Bazar at 10:00 a.m.. Other notable timings include 9:30 a.m. at Ziyarat Hazrat Mir Syed Yaqoob Sahab (RA) Sonawar and 9:30 a.m. at Ziyarat Hazrat Mirza Kamil Sab (RA) Hawal.
Furthermore, 9:00 a.m. is set for Ziyarat Hazrat Roopa Reshi (RA) Habakadal, and 9:30 a.m. at Shahi Masjid, Mujahid Manzi. Other timings span from 7:30 a.m. at Syed Hissari Sahab R.A Nowhatta to 8:00 a.m. at various mosques including Qila Masjid Shaheed Gunj and Markazi Jamia Masjid Batwara.
A thorough Eid prayer schedule has been provided for all districts in the Valley and Jammu division.
