New Delhi, March 15 (NationPress) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the election timeline for four states and one Union Territory (UT) on Sunday, detailing the comprehensive steps taken by the electoral body to ensure free, fair, and transparent Assembly elections.

According to Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, Assam and Kerala are set to conduct their elections in a single phase on April 9. The UT of Puducherry will also be voting on the same day. In Tamil Nadu, all 234 constituencies will participate in the polls on April 23.

For West Bengal, the elections will occur in two phases. On April 23, voting will take place for 152 seats, with the remaining 142 seats following in the second phase on April 29.

The results for all Assembly elections will be declared on May 4.
