Emphasizing Technology and Branding to Boost Tourism: Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister

Jaipur, Dec 9 (NationPress) The Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Diya Kumari, stated on Monday that the state government is concentrating on technology and branding as key strategies to advance tourism.

She emphasized that tourism transcends mere business; it serves as a platform to share our culture and profound experiences. During her interaction with attendees at the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, she expressed that the Rajasthan government's objective is to foster repeat tourism within the state.

She urged that everyone should strive to ensure that visitors to Rajasthan return for future explorations. “To achieve this, we must promote new tourist destinations and enhance tourist facilities,” she asserted.

Furthermore, she indicated that the government’s emphasis will lie on marketing and promotion to elevate tourism in the state, with new technology playing a pivotal role.

She noted that events like Rising Rajasthan are not just singular events but represent a continuous journey towards development.

She reiterated the commitment of the Rajasthan government to elevate tourism to unprecedented levels within the state.

“The theme of today’s sectoral session is inspired by the Prime Minister's vision, which highlights that tourism should serve as a link between the economy and society. Our government also aims to create better employment and business opportunities for all segments of society,” she stated.

The Rising Rajasthan Investment Global Summit was inaugurated with considerable grandeur on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi officiated the summit, referring to tourism as synonymous with Rajasthan and highlighting the state's unique tourism attributes during his speech.

Special speakers at the tourism session included poet and actor Shailesh Lodha, actor Nakul Mehta, and tourism experts Anjali Bhartrihari Ravi and Neha Arora, who collectively remarked that the diversity found in Rajasthan is unparalleled in any other state, both nationally and internationally.

In a focused session on tourism during the Rising Rajasthan event, Tourism Secretary Shri Ravi Jain delivered a detailed presentation that provided comprehensive insights into Rajasthan tourism and the vast investment opportunities available.
