During a media briefing following a review meeting at Tourism Bhawan, which was attended by Tourism Department Secretary Ravi Jain and Tourism Commissioner Vijay Pal Singh, she stressed that these updated policies aim to attract more tourism and film production to Rajasthan.

With the IIFA 2025 Awards approaching, scheduled for March 8-9 in Jaipur, she highlighted the event's potential to elevate Rajasthan's global profile in tourism and significantly encourage film shoots in the state.

During the meeting, she provided precise instructions to officials, underscoring the importance of streamlining policy execution to optimize growth within the tourism sector. She advocated for a robust global branding strategy for Rajasthan tourism and the incorporation of digital initiatives in the new policies.

Earlier, she elaborated on various points in detail, offering clear directives to officials. She insisted on the necessity for clarity in the Rajasthan Tourism Policy and Rajasthan Film Tourism Promotion Policy to ensure maximum benefit for tourism in the state.

She stated that both policies should prioritize strong international branding for Rajasthan tourism.

Additionally, she mentioned that the tourism policy should introduce segment-specific innovations, enabling all stakeholders and tourism-related entities to contribute effectively to promoting Rajasthan.

Digital initiatives are also essential within the tourism policy. She suggested tailored innovations to engage stakeholders and tourism businesses more effectively.

Furthermore, the film policy should be simplified to encourage more film shoots in Rajasthan, subsequently enhancing tourism, she noted.

The Deputy Chief Minister asserted that both policies would not only bolster tourism in Rajasthan but would also generate new employment opportunities for residents and reinforce the economy of the state. “The updated policies will significantly enhance tourism while creating new job opportunities and strengthening Rajasthan’s economy,” she stated.
