New Delhi, Aug 2 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has submitted a supplementary chargesheet against five additional members of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) related to the 2024 Chhattisgarh arms recovery case.
The individuals named in the chargesheet include Anish Khan also known as Annu Khan, Anil Kumar Netam, Jaysing Hidko, Raghvueer Jain, and Shailendra Kumar Baghel also known as Golu. They have been recognized as Over Ground Workers (OGWs), with one acting as a supplier for the Maoist group.
All five were reportedly active within the Kuyemari Area Committee, a crucial arm of the CPI (Maoist) functioning in the insurgency-prone area. The chargesheet, submitted to the Special NIA Court in Jagdalpur, lists them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), and the Explosive Substances Act.
