Nagpur, March 31 (NationPress) Swami Avdheshanand Giri, the Mahamandaleshwar of Juna Akhara, on Monday discussed the significant outcomes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur. He emphasized that ensuring India's progress and prosperity over the next 1,000 years is among the key focus areas of PM Modi’s administration. Additionally, he condemned the Opposition for disrespecting the nation's courageous and historical figures.

During a program held at the RSS headquarters on Sunday, which celebrated Gudi Padwa, PM Modi was accompanied by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, and Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj.

This marked PM Modi’s inaugural visit to the RSS HQ as Prime Minister, making him only the second Prime Minister to do so after Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Swami Avdheshanand Giri stated to IANS, "The Prime Minister spoke about preparing India for the next 1,000 years to ensure its strength and prosperity."

He underscored PM Modi’s focus on India’s cultural heritage, particularly the philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam—the concept of 'the world as one family'.

"He emphasized the public welfare aspects of Indian culture, stating that it has guided humanity towards well-being for centuries," Swami Avdheshanand added.

He also mentioned that the Prime Minister highlighted the significance of continuing the teachings of Dr. Hedgewar and Guru Golwalkar, asserting that the country is witnessing the positive results of the Sangh’s century-long dedication.

When discussing his interaction with PM Modi, Swami Avdheshanand remarked, "The Prime Minister’s humility was apparent during the event. When complimented, he graciously attributed it to divine blessings and reiterated his steadfast commitment to national welfare."

In response to the Opposition's claims regarding the hygiene of cowsheds, the spiritual leader remarked, "PM Modi emphasized the cow's importance as a mother, asserting that it benefits not only India but also the entire world. He referenced the contributions of Indian cow breeds in various countries, including Brazil."

Giri firmly opposed the comments made by Samajwadi Party leader Ramji Lal Suman, who labeled Rana Sanga a traitor.

"This nation will never accept the denigration of its great figures. India has always revered the ideals of its true heroes, and those who slander them are doing a great disservice," he said.
