During the inauguration of the Khwairakpam Krishnagopal Memorial Building at Ningthoukhong in the Bishnupur district, the Governor remarked that this initiative embodies a broader vision aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure through collaborative efforts.
On this occasion, the Khwairakpam Krishnagopal Memorial Building was also officially dedicated to the Community Health Centre (CHC), Ningthoukhong.
Developed by the Gojendro Foundation within the CHC premises, the facility has been transferred to the Manipur government to bolster the expansion and modernization of the centre, particularly focusing on enhancing maternal healthcare with the introduction of a dedicated maternity ward.
