Vaja, who took office as a Cabinet-level Education Minister in October of the previous year, hails from Ahmedabad and has a background in medicine.
His academic credentials include an MBBS, DGO, and MD from Gujarat University, along with LLB and LLM qualifications completed in 2022.
He was elected to the Gujarat Legislative Assembly representing the Kodinar constituency during the 2022 Assembly elections.
Hospital officials indicated that he will continue to be observed over the coming days as part of his post-procedure care.
