Gurugram: Two Arrested for the Murder of an 18-Year-Old Following a Dispute

Gurugram, Dec 7 (NationPress) The Gurugram Police have taken two suspects into custody on Saturday for their alleged involvement in the murder of an 18-year-old following a dispute at a wedding gathering in the Sohna area, as reported by the police.
As per the police report, a complaint was filed on Saturday stating that on the night between Friday and Saturday, the complainant was warming himself by a fire near Chhoti Mata Mandir with friends in the vicinity of Sector-5 police station.
During this time, a Thar car arrived at the scene, and its occupants began questioning the complainant about Vikas Kangra and proceeded to verbally abuse him. When the complainant objected, the accused fired at him, injuring his friend Manjeet alias Lucky (18) in the abdomen.
Following the complaint, a case was registered under the appropriate sections at Police Station Sector-5, Gurugram.
Unfortunately, during medical treatment, the injured Manjeet, a resident of Feroze Gandhi Colony, Gurugram, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital on Saturday.
Acting swiftly in this case, the police arrested the suspects, identified as Monu (35) and Mohit (24), both residents of Gurgaon village, Gurugram.
During their interrogation, it was revealed that both the complainant and the accused had attended the same wedding in Sohna on Thursday, where they had a disagreement while dancing.
Due to the tension from this disagreement, both parties encountered each other near Chhoti Mata Mandir on the night between Friday and Saturday, culminating in the accused shooting the victim before fleeing the scene.
Police have recovered the Thar vehicle involved in the crime, along with a pistol, two magazines, and six live cartridges from the possession of the accused.
