As per the police, on February 24, a report was made at the Farrukhnagar police station concerning the shooting of a young man outside the ARAMEX India Private Limited Company close to WCTM College in the Farrukhnagar vicinity.
Upon investigation, officers arrived at the scene, discovering that the injured party had been rushed to ERV hospital by family members and the police.
Continuing their efforts, the police team proceeded to the hospital where they learned that the victim, Rohit (32), a resident of Khera Khurrampur village in Gurugram, was pronounced dead due to a gunshot wound.
The location of the crime was subsequently examined by police units specializing in crime scenes, fingerprint analysis, and canine assistance.
The father of the deceased informed the police team that on February 24, Harsh, also from Khera Khurrampur village, had threatened to murder his son.
Harsh had, along with accomplices, executed the fatal shooting.
Following the complaint, a case was filed under pertinent sections at the Farrukhnagar police station in Gurugram, and a reward of Rs 20,000 was announced for the capture of Harsh and his co-conspirators.
During the inquiry, a crime branch unit from Farrukhnagar apprehended Harsh on Monday near the KMP flyover on Farrukhnagar Road in Gurugram.
During interrogation, it emerged that the victim, Rohit, had been an associate of Harsh, involved in supplying water and tea.
“The accused had previously discussed plans to kill someone with his accomplices, which Rohit disclosed to that individual. Out of vengeance, Harsh and his associates fatally shot Rohit, hitting him with a total of eight bullets,” stated Sandeep Kumar, spokesperson for the Gurugram police.
