Jaipur, Aug 4 (NationPress) The President of the National Democratic Party and MP for Nagaur, Hanuman Beniwal, convened with Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary, who holds the dual roles of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Minister of State for Education, at his office in the Parliament House located in New Delhi on Monday.
During this significant meeting, Beniwal urged Chaudhary to accelerate the sanctioning process for the proposed Kendriya Vidyalayas in Khinvsar, Deedwana, and Parbatsar within the Nagaur parliamentary area.
Beniwal shared on the social media platform X, stating: "Today, I engaged with Union Minister Jayant Chaudhary Ji at his office in Parliament, discussing the urgent need for approval of the proposed Kendriya Vidyalayas in Khinvsar, Deedwana, and Parbatsar within the Nagaur Parliamentary constituency. We also addressed the prevailing atmosphere of fear in government schools following the recent tragic incident in Rajasthan’s Jhalawar district. I appealed to Chaudhary Ji to ensure timely financial approval for various school repair, renovation, and maintenance proposals I submitted for the government schools in Nagaur and the Deedwana-Kuchaman districts. The Minister Ji provided positive assurances regarding all discussed issues."
Beniwal further expressed concern over the unsettling atmosphere in government schools following the aforementioned tragedy.
Moreover, he pressed for prompt financial approval of outstanding proposals aimed at the repair and renovation of numerous government schools in Nagaur and Deedwana-Kuchaman districts.
According to Beniwal, the Union Minister has assured him positively on all matters discussed.
In a separate context, Minister Chaudhary responded to a parliamentary inquiry raised by Beniwal regarding the status of PM Shri schools.
Beniwal criticized the Central government for its lack of clarity and accountability in the execution of the PM Shri scheme, despite claims of substantial financial outlay.
He noted that the Union government has reported spending over Rs 5,000 crore under the scheme over the past two financial years (2023–24 and 2024–25).
However, when inquired about how many schools had successfully achieved 100 percent physical and educational upgrades, the Union government was unable to provide a specific number.
Beniwal emphasized that this situation highlights a significant failure in monitoring and implementation, as funds are being allocated without adequate tracking to ensure schools meet necessary standards.
