Chandigarh, May 19 (NationPress) Haryana's Transport Minister Anil Vij addressed the recent arrest of a female YouTuber from Haryana and various spies following Operation Sindoor, stating that the government is vigilantly monitoring activities both domestically and internationally.
“Individuals residing in India who express support for Pakistan pose a significant threat. It is crucial to identify and prosecute them,” he asserted.
Vij highlighted that the government is diligently addressing challenges at both the borders and within the nation.
During a media interaction, Minister Vij remarked that all genuine Indians should respect and support the soldiers who selflessly protect the country.
“Anyone acting against our soldiers is a traitor. Our government is committed to taking appropriate measures against such individuals,” he stated.
In reference to the elimination of one of India’s most wanted terrorists in Pakistan, the minister noted, “PM Modi, a formidable leader in this battle, pledged to eradicate terrorism even within their sanctuaries.”
Nine significant terrorist strongholds in Pakistan have been dismantled, and India will continue its efforts until all remaining bases are eradicated.
“This conflict is ongoing; only a ceasefire has been declared. We will do whatever is necessary to conclude this war and dismantle the extremist networks operating in Pakistan,” he emphasized.
Addressing calls for the release of terrorist Hafiz Saeed of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan, Vij stated that militants are supported by the Pakistani government and populace, which is why such demands arise. “However, those involved in terrorist actions against India will face consequences,” he affirmed.
Commenting on an Indian delegation’s efforts to expose Pakistani terrorism abroad, Cabinet Minister Vij stated, “This initiative effectively showcases India’s strength and perspective on global platforms. This is a technological battle. Our intelligence agencies have accurately identified targets, and our forces have executed strikes with precision.”
In response to Congress leader Jairam Ramesh claiming that Operation Sindoor is being politicized, Vij remarked, “The success of India is difficult for some to accept, leading to such statements. There is no politicization of this operation; Jairam Ramesh perceives everything through a political lens.”
