Key regional and global issues were also on the agenda, including the conditions in West Asia and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The consultations were co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri and State Secretary of the German Foreign Office Geza Andreas von Geyr.
This year is particularly noteworthy for the bilateral relationship as it marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between India and Germany, with a commemoration of 25 years of the Strategic Partnership set for 2025.
