New Delhi, Oct 18 (NationPress) Lauding the vision articulated at the NDTV World Summit, Sandeep Gambhir, CEO of Vertelo, remarked that the event emerged as a compelling platform to delve into India’s shifting role within the global economic and technological arena.

In an interview with IANS on Saturday, Gambhir characterized the summit as a remarkable gathering of ideas and leadership, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address as “electrifying” and pivotal in outlining the nation's aspirations for the forthcoming year.

“Today’s discussions provided an in-depth exploration of the infrastructure and commercial vehicle sector. We are observing a significant shift from traditional fuel-powered two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and passenger vehicles to electric vehicles (EVs), with electric trucks now joining the competition,” Gambhir highlighted.

The summit facilitated connections between industry stakeholders and policymakers, fostering a collective vision in harmony with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

In reference to the rising sentiment of ‘Swadeshi’, Gambhir expressed optimism about the government's support, industry innovation, and consumer confidence converging to promote self-reliance across various sectors, including electric mobility, artificial intelligence, and clean energy.

He underscored the necessity of engaging youth in emerging technologies, resonating with the Prime Minister’s focus on energy security and digital transformation.

“At the grassroots level, the Atmanirbhar Bharat slogan has evolved into a nationwide movement. It signifies not only self-reliance but also sustainability and the aspiration to become a global leader. We are confidently advancing towards that goal,” he stated.

Commenting on PM Modi’s international influence, Gambhir asserted that India’s global identity has undergone substantial transformation in recent years.

“When we travel abroad today, we are recognized as hailing from the land of PM Modi. Such recognition instills pride in every Indian,” he concluded, affirming that the nation’s leadership is guiding it towards innovation, resilience, and global esteem.
