The deceased has been identified as Manan Sharma, a diligent Class 12 student.

Before taking this drastic step by hanging himself from the window frame, Manan was engaged in studying with his brother until late Friday night.

The grim discovery was made when a morning phone call to Manan went unanswered. Concerned, his cousin, who was resting in an adjacent room, was called over and subsequently found Manan hanging.
