Hyderabad, Nov 14 (NationPress) Former Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K. Kavitha expressed her thoughts on the recent loss of her party in the Jubilee Hills by-election in Telangana by stating, “Karma hits back.” Kavitha, who is the daughter of BRS President and ex-Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), took to X to deliver a pointed remark after BRS was unable to maintain the Assembly seat.
The ruling Congress party successfully seized the seat from the BRS following the by-election prompted by the passing of sitting BRS MLA Maganti Gopinath.
This setback was a significant blow to the BRS, which had been aiming for a resurgence after losing power in 2023 and following a disappointing performance in last year’s Lok Sabha elections where they failed to win any seats.
Kavitha had previously resigned from the BRS due to her suspension for anti-party actions in September and also stepped down from her post in the Legislative Council.
