Khalistani Extremist Pannun Releases Threat Video Targeting DGP Conference in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Nov 28 (NationPress) The US-based pro-Khalistani extremist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has released a threat video aimed at disrupting the three-day Director Generals/ Inspector Generals of Police Conference-2024, set to take place in Bhubaneswar starting this Friday.
The founder of the banned organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) issued a video on Thursday, labeling the Prime Minister, Union Home Minister, and National Security Advisor as the "axis of evil" responsible for posing the greatest security threat to Bhubaneswar.
In the video, he stated, “Bhubaneswar is not just a city of temples; it has become a city of terror where 200 Indian terrorists from CISF, BSF, CRPF, NSG, NIA, and IB are convening under the leadership of Amit Shah, who orchestrated the assassination of Sahid Nijjar. Disrupt and halt the DGP terror conference as they, under the influence of violent Hindutva ideology, have planned the attacks on pro-Khalistani Sikhs, Kashmiri fighters, Naxals, and Maoists.”
Pannun further urged, “Naxals, Maoists, and Kashmir fighters, I encourage you to seek refuge in the temples and hotels of Bhubaneswar to bring international attention to your issues.”
It is important to note that the state capital has been fortified with extensive security measures for this significant event.
A senior police official stated, “The security protocols are in place to ensure the protection of VVIPs and esteemed delegates from across the nation, aiming to prevent any unforeseen incidents. Comprehensive security arrangements have been established, including the deployment of BSF, CRPF, and Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs), along with thorough anti-sabotage inspections. Increased patrolling and roadblocks have been implemented in various locations, and CCTV surveillance along with human intelligence teams have been activated throughout the city.”
This three-day major event will see the participation of PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, NSA Ajit Doval, senior officials from the Intelligence Bureau, DGPs from all states, the Director General of CRPF, chiefs from Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), National Security Guard (NSG), and Special Protection Group (SPG).
