On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, Reddy shared a detailed step-by-step guide on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 enumeration form, walking Telangana voters through the entire process of getting their name on the draft electoral roll.

What the BLO Brings — and What You Must Add

The process begins at your doorstep. According to the guide, the Booth Level Officer (BLO) delivers a pre-filled form carrying your name, Voter ID number, address, serial number, part number, Assembly Constituency (AC) and Parliamentary Constituency (PC) name, state, a QR code, and your old photograph. The one thing the BLO cannot do for you: paste your current passport-size photograph. That first step is yours.

From there, the form branches. If your name already appears in the 2002 Electoral Roll, you fill in your own elector details — name, EPIC number, father's or mother's name, district, state, AC name, AC number, part number, and serial number. If your name is absent but a parent's or grandparent's name is present, you fill in their details in the 'Relative's column' instead. This legacy-linkage provision is a standard mechanism the Election Commission of India uses during intensive revisions to establish eligibility through family records.

Aadhaar Optional, Signature Mandatory

Voters must also enter their current date of birth, mobile number, and — critically — their Aadhaar number, which is optional. The guide is explicit: no elector should be turned away for not providing Aadhaar. You must also add the names and EPIC numbers of your father or guardian, mother, and spouse where applicable, then sign the form or affix your left thumb impression if signing is not possible.

The completed form goes back to the BLO for verification and countersignature. Your name is added to the draft roll only after the BLO receives and processes the completed form.
