In one heartbreaking case, an 11-year-old boy lost his life after plummeting from the terrace of his home while engaged in kite-flying. The tragedy unfolded in Nirmal town on Wednesday. Mohammed Huzef, a sixth-grade student at the Telangana Minority Residential School, lost his footing and fell while attempting to fly a kite with his friends. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he tragically passed away.
In another unfortunate event, a 39-year-old man died after falling from a building while flying a kite within the Meerpet corporation limits in Rangareddy district. K. Mahesh Yadav fell from the terrace while enjoying the activity. Additionally, a schoolboy succumbed to electrocution while trying to retrieve a kite caught in electric wires in Mahabubnagar district. The victim, identified as Manoj Kumar, suffered electrocution while using an iron rod to free the kite from the wires located on his home’s terrace.
In the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, a man met a tragic end after falling from the terrace of a dhaba while flying a kite. The incident took place in Ammanabolu village, Mutakonduru mandal. Jupally Narender, aged 48, fell from a terrace that apparently lacked a parapet wall. He suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In related news, two young boys drowned while swimming in the sea at Anakapalli district in Andhra Pradesh. This incident occurred near the Revupolavaram shore in S. Rayavaram mandal. The victims were identified as K. Manikanta (18) and Pasanaboina Sadhwik (10), both hailing from Lovakothuru village in Tuni Mandal.
