Bhuj, April 16 (NationPress) Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel highlighted the remarkable transformation of Kutch district following the devastating 2001 earthquake. During the ‘Vikas Sankalp Sabha’ gatherings held to support Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates, Patel remarked, “Rebuilding Kutch post-earthquake was a daunting task, yet today it flourishes thanks to Prime Minister Modi's foresight and the unwavering dedication of Kutch's residents.”
He noted that the district's development was progressing steadily and without interruptions.
Stressing on governance and leadership, Patel asserted, “Prime Minister Modi consistently delivers on his commitments, which is enhancing public trust in his leadership daily.”

He added that the Ayushman Card scheme is facilitating free medical treatments for economically disadvantaged groups.
On economic advancements, Patel noted a dramatic increase in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from 1.83 lakh in 2001 to over 27 lakh, attributing this growth to initiatives like Vibrant Gujarat.
He also mentioned the ‘Catch the Rain’ campaign, highlighting successful efforts in environmental conservation and water management, asserting that individual actions can lead to significant positive changes in cleanliness.
In a critique of opposing parties, he stated, “Merely voicing hollow slogans accomplishes little; effective planning and execution are essential,” underscoring the BJP's track record in this regard.
