On Friday, LG Saxena is set to inaugurate the Amrut Biodiversity Park along the riverbank, accompanied by East Delhi MP and Minister of State Harsh Malhotra and Laxmi Nagar legislator Abhay Verma.

During the previous inauguration of NDMC’s flower show, L-G Saxena expressed his commitment to transforming the Capital into a ‘City of Flowers’, a vision shared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who aspires for the Capital to be the most beautiful.

“In the last 10 days, I have launched four such flower shows and events, and in the upcoming days, we will enhance the city’s aesthetic appeal,” he stated on March 1.

“Today, I visited the NDMC Flower Festival 2025 at Central Park, Connaught Place. It splendidly highlights Delhi’s rich floral diversity, uniting nature enthusiasts to celebrate the city’s blooming beauty. From brilliant marigolds and delicate petunias to aromatic roses and exotic orchids, Delhi is truly on its way to becoming a 'City of Flowers’,” he added on the social media platform.
