Mumbai, April 23 (NationPress) The Maharashtra government has coordinated a special flight to return 83 tourists back to Mumbai from Srinagar.
“The Indigo Aircraft is scheduled to fly back 83 tourists to Mumbai on April 24. Efforts are ongoing to arrange another special flight for tomorrow, and preparations for the passenger list are currently being made. Union MoS Murlidhar Mohol is providing full support for this initiative. All costs for this special flight will be covered by the state government,” stated the CMO of Maharashtra in a post on X.
In the meantime, the BJP held protests across various locations on Wednesday condemning the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Minority Morcha organized a protest at the party’s state office against the despicable attack on tourists by terrorists in Pahalgam.
A significant number of office bearers and members of the Minority Morcha participated in this event.
Slogans were chanted in retaliation to the attack, accompanied by placards stating ‘Pakistan Murdabad' and 'Atankwad Murdabad'.
Placards were also displayed in support of the Modi government, with messages like ‘Amitbhai aage badho, hum tumhare sath hain’.
BJP Minority Morcha president Wasim Khan, vice president Salman Khan, along with Masuk Siddiqui, Hussain Khan, Altaf Sheikh, Adil Sheikh, Jahangir Khan, and others were present at the event.
A protest march was also conducted in North Mumbai, attended by MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar, MLA Yogesh Sagar, MLA Manisha Choudhary, former MP Gopal Shetty, senior leader Bhai Girkar, and North Mumbai district president Ganesh Khankar.
“The public's frustration was voiced through this protest march. A call was made to the central government to eradicate this terrorism swiftly,” the release noted.
