Additionally, the Governor plans to conduct in-depth discussions with all Vice-Chancellors in the near future. In the introductory remarks, the Governor's Secretary, Prashant Narnaware, provided insights into the implementation of the National Education Policy, university rankings, women's empowerment efforts, the Swayamsiddha initiative, skill development, and the 'School Connect' program.
In a related event, a delegation of 17 senior military and civil service officers from India and allied nations, currently training in Economic Diplomacy at the National Defence College, visited Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Lok Bhavan during their study tour of Maharashtra.
The delegation comprised Brigadier-level officers from the Indian Navy, Air Force, and Army, along with officials from the Revenue Service, and included senior military representatives from Russia, Oman, Indonesia, Nigeria, Nepal, and Tanzania, led by Major General Harkirat Singh, a Senior Faculty member at the National Defence College.
