New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the remarkable contributions of a young entrepreneur from Manipur, Moirangthem Seth, who has successfully introduced solar energy to numerous households across the state.

During his monthly radio program, 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi acknowledged Seth's initiatives, underlining how local solutions can tackle enduring issues such as electricity shortages in remote regions.

“There’s an old saying: where there is a will, there is a way. A young man from Manipur has demonstrated this through his efforts,” PM Modi stated.

Moirangthem Seth: I am extremely joyful and thankful. It illustrates that even a simple concept can significantly impact lives. The Prime Minister’s recognition instills hope that small initiatives can lead to meaningful change.

IANS: Does your initiative support programs like PM Surya Ghar Yojana?

Moirangthem Seth: Yes. Our focus is on remote areas and healthcare centers that lack reliable electricity. While PM Surya Ghar primarily targets rural households with existing grid connections, both of our approaches work together towards a unified vision—providing power for every home and community.

IANS: How do you perceive the impact of PM Surya Ghar Yojana on grassroots communities?

Moirangthem Seth: Both our initiative and PM Surya Ghar are benefiting communities. Our off-grid solutions assist those in remote areas, while rural households gain from PM Surya Ghar. Together, these efforts enhance electricity access and improve livelihoods.

IANS: With your name mentioned in the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat, do you believe it inspires youth towards innovation, self-sufficiency, and the vision of a Viksit Bharat?

Moirangthem Seth: Certainly. Being acknowledged by the Prime Minister serves as a powerful motivation. It demonstrates that with a humble approach focused on community welfare, even simple ideas can inspire thousands and motivate youth across the nation.

IANS: In your view, how effective are Prime Minister Modi’s schemes on the ground, and how beneficial are they for ordinary citizens?

Moirangthem Seth: The effectiveness hinges on how well solutions are executed locally. From my observations, initiatives like PM Surya Ghar are functioning positively in many regions, including Manipur. People are experiencing tangible benefits, and these programs are gradually improving access to electricity and essential services.
