Patna, Oct 30 (NationPress) During a vigorous campaign in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the 'two Yuvraj' - Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav - for attempting to deceive the state's populace with a “basket of false promises” ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
Speaking at a large rally in Muzaffarpur, PM Modi highlighted the questionable backgrounds of the two Yuvraj (without naming them) and urged citizens to remain vigilant as they have set up a shop of deceitful promises in the lead-up to the elections.
Mocking the Gandhi-Yadav pair, the Prime Minister stated, “One is the heir of one of India's most corrupt families, while the other belongs to Bihar's most corrupt lineage. Both are currently out on bail in a multi-crore scam.”
He further remarked that those who historically kept the state in darkness under the ‘Lantern raj’ can never provide effective governance.
According to him, Bihar, under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership, is evolving into a hub for railway components manufacturing, contrasting starkly with previous administrations that allowed the country's largest public carrier to be pillaged, thus ensuring that voters won’t fall for their fake promises.
PM Modi also referenced ‘naamdar and kaamdar’ to criticize Rahul Gandhi's inappropriate remarks made at a rally in Bihar the day before.
He stated, “Naamdars feel entitled to insult Kaamdars like me. Their frustration stems from the reality that a ‘chaiwala’ has ascended to the highest constitutional position in the country, prompting them to hurl insults at me.”
The Prime Minister encouraged attendees to vote diligently and remain cautious against the maha gathbandhan's deceptive promises and tactics.
“There is significant discord within the Congress and RJD, their internal conflicts are apparent on public platforms, yet they are cunningly concealing it, as their sole aim is to seize power in Bihar,” he asserted.
Modi mentioned that all pre-election surveys indicate an unprecedented defeat for the RJD-Congress alliance while predicting a decisive victory for the BJP-led NDA.
In a bid to rally public support with the slogan ‘Abki baar, NDA sarkar’, he expressed confidence that the people of Bihar will again support the NDA in the upcoming elections.
