New Delhi, Jan 31 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi sharply criticized the Congress and AAP-da (AAP) for their arrogance and launched a fierce attack on the “Royal (Gandhi) family” of the Congress for ridiculing President Droupadi Murmu following her address in Parliament.
While addressing an election rally in Dwarka, located in west Delhi, PM Modi stated: “Today, our esteemed President addressed the Parliament, emphasizing development and the vision for Viksit Bharat.”
“However, a member of the Royal family of the Congress claimed that the President delivered a boring speech, while another member insulted a tribal woman by referring to her as a ‘poor thing’,” he added.
“This is a disgrace to 10 crore tribals and every impoverished person in the nation. The Royal family of the Congress harbors resentment against Dalits, STs, or OBCs who strive for betterment,” he remarked, indirectly referencing the reactions from Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, to the President’s address during the opening day of the Budget Session of Parliament.
“Their forte lies in abusing people and tarnishing the country's image abroad while favoring Urban Naxals,” PM Modi stated, referring to both the Congress and AAP.
“These two arrogant parties have conspired behind the scenes, and we must remain vigilant,” he urged voters to support a BJP government in the upcoming February 5 Assembly elections in Delhi.
He remarked that arrogance is prevalent in both AAP-da and Congress - with AAP-da viewing itself as the rightful owner of Delhi and Congress perceiving itself as the ruler of the nation.
Touching upon the political upheaval concerning pollution in the Yamuna, the PM noted that due to the fear of electoral loss, AAP-da leaders are engaging in zehrili raajniti (poisonous politics).
PM Modi criticized the ruling party in Delhi for the deplorable state of the Yamuna, indulging in a blame game and corruption.
He pointed out that the AAP-da government has not increased the budget for infrastructure over the last four years.
“They prioritize spending on their publicity and advertisements instead of public welfare,” he stated.
Attacking the corruption within the AAP-da government and labeling it as an enemy of the middle class, he asserted: “Those residing in Sheesh Mahal have no regard for the two BHK of a middle-class family.”
While addressing Arvind Kejriwal’s remarks on Yamuna’s ‘poison’, he remarked that the AAP-da members harbor hate towards Haryana.
“They accuse the neighboring state for air pollution and now blame Haryana for poisoning Yamuna water,” he emphasized.
The land that imparted the message of Gita has been wrongfully accused of poisoning the Yamuna. “Yamuna is not merely a river but a component of the Indian ethos, yet it is in a deteriorating condition today,” he remarked.
He shared that the poor condition of the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad used to trouble him. “I subsequently rejuvenated the river and developed a riverfront there,” he noted, adding, “I will personally oversee the revitalization of the Yamuna in Delhi as well.”
According to him, the BJP government will transform the future of Delhi NCR by enhancing the Yamuna.
“We will purify the water, develop the riverfront, establish a green tourism corridor, and operate a water Metro for transport,” he declared, asserting that rejuvenating a river also stimulates the economy.
Claiming that the BJP not only promotes development but also aids in savings for the underprivileged, he mentioned: “We will provide homes to the poor in Delhi at double the speed once a BJP government is established.”
Reiterating the BJP’s zero tolerance for corruption, PM Modi promised that the BJP government will convene an Assembly session promptly, and the CAG report, detailing the financial discrepancies of the AAP government, will be presented to unveil the corruption propagated by the AAP-da government.
He also highlighted the PM Surya Ghar solar energy initiative under which the BJP government will allocate Rs 75,000-80,000 to each household for installing a solar plant, resulting in 300 free units of electricity monthly.
He encouraged women to link their bank accounts with mobile numbers, as they will soon receive notifications indicating that Rs 2,500 financial assistance has been credited to their accounts under the Mahila Samriddhi Scheme.
“The inaugural Cabinet meeting of the BJP government will facilitate the disbursement of the Mahila Samridhi Yojana funds,” he remarked.
Focusing on young job seekers, PM Modi stated that thousands of jobs will be generated without any corruption or favoritism. “This is what the BJP government accomplished in Haryana during its first Cabinet meeting,” he noted.
He mentioned that government employees in Delhi will also benefit from the recently announced Eighth Pay Commission.
He pledged to provide sports facilities in rural areas and ensure the revival of stalled welfare programs for widows and the elderly, particularly in villages.
