New Delhi, May 13 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi received widespread acclaim from BJP and JD(U) leaders for his recent visit to the Adampur Airbase in Punjab on Tuesday. During his visit, the Prime Minister engaged with Indian Air Force personnel, praising their steadfast dedication to national security. This visit comes on the heels of a newly declared ceasefire between India and Pakistan, following the successful ‘Operation Sindoor’, an impactful anti-terror operation targeting significant terror infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).

Regrettably, some attempt to politicize these moments, but the Prime Minister's actions are rooted in respect and gratitude for our defenders.”

Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya recounted a personal story. “This visit will undoubtedly elevate the morale of the armed forces. A friend of mine in the military mentioned that when the Prime Minister placed a hand on his shoulder, he felt a rush of energy. The PM’s visits are not mere formalities — he actively observes their living conditions, shares meals, listens to their concerns, and truly engages with them. He perceives himself as their foremost servant and embraces that duty earnestly.”

Earlier at the Adampur Airbase, Modi interacted with soldiers, commending their bravery. Sources reported that the troops found his presence highly encouraging. Photographs from the visit depicted smiling soldiers in combat gear, showcasing high morale and readiness.

On social media platform X, PM Modi shared, “Earlier today, I visited AFS Adampur and met our valiant air warriors and soldiers. This visit coincided with India's retaliation against terror infrastructure across the border, following Pakistan's attempts to target Indian sites, including the Adampur Airbase, during the night of May 9-10. Fortunately, India's air defense systems successfully thwarted incoming drones and missiles, showcasing the nation’s robust defense preparedness.
