Furthermore, on March 6, an autorickshaw driver in Kamareddy district drowned his three young daughters in a lake. Ismail, the accused, claimed he was unable to provide for them financially. The bodies of Shifat, 8, Ayat, 7, and Mariyam, 5, were later retrieved from the lake. Initially, he reported them missing to the police, but upon questioning, he confessed to the heinous act.
