Hyderabad, March 28 (NationPress) Three children were discovered dead under suspicious circumstances at a residence in Ameenpur, located in the Sangareddy district near Hyderabad, early Friday morning.
Their mother was taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to law enforcement, the mother reported stomach pain at around 3 a.m., prompting her husband, Chennaiah, to rush her to a hospital with assistance from neighbors.
Upon Chennaiah's return home, he tragically found all three children lifeless. They were identified as Sai Krishna (12), Madhu Priya (10), and Gautam (8).
The police moved the children's bodies to a local government hospital for an autopsy. They initiated a case concerning the deaths under suspicious circumstances and began an investigation.
The Superintendent of Police of Sangareddy district, Paritosh Pankaj, along with senior officials, visited the scene in the Raghavendra Nagar area.
The mother was receiving care at a private hospital in Beeramguda. She mentioned that she and her children had consumed curd and rice the previous night.
Authorities are exploring whether this incident was a case of food poisoning or if the mother poisoned her children and attempted suicide due to family issues.
In a separate incident in the Sangareddy district, two migrant workers were found deceased in an agricultural well.
This incident took place in Paidigummal village within the Kohir mandal of the district. Police discovered the bodies of Baidyanath Bhat (from Uttar Pradesh) and Hari Singh (from Odisha) in a well associated with a real estate project.
The workers had arrived at the project for employment and had been unaccounted for since March 10. A missing persons report was filed at the Kohir Police Station on March 13.
Authorities retrieved the workers' bodies from the well and transferred them to a government hospital for an autopsy.
Police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation to determine whether this incident was accidental or involved foul play.
Investigators are questioning several individuals connected to the real estate venture as part of their inquiry.
