New Delhi, July 3 (NationPress) Member of Parliament representing Delhi's Chandni Chowk constituency, Praveen Khandelwal, on Thursday, instructed municipal officials to take action against encroachments in Chawri Bazar and Deendayal Upadhyay Park located on Mata Sundari Road.

During his inspection of Mata Sundari Road, adjacent to the entrance of Lok Nayak Hospital, the MP highlighted the issue of encroachment by scrap dealers, particularly behind Deendayal Upadhyay Park and near the Gurdwara.

Khandelwal toured several neighborhoods during his inspection of Chawri Bazar, Sitaram Bazar, and areas surrounding Mata Sundari Gurudwara alongside senior officials.

The MP also urged officials from the Jal Board and Public Works Department (PWD) to address issues such as sunken sewer lines and potholes on the roads, while also directing the police to manage illegal parking and rickshaws.

Accompanying him were the Deputy Commissioner from the City Zone of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, the Deputy Commissioner of Delhi Police (Central Delhi), and officials from various departments including the Municipal Corporation, Police, Delhi Jal Board, PWD, BSES, and Delhi Metro.
