Bhopal, May 28 (NationPress) The Madhya Pradesh Police are accelerating their preparations for the significant convention to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bhopal's Jamboree Maidan on May 31.

A no-fly zone has been established within a five-kilometre radius around Jamboree Maidan; this directive was issued by the Bhopal district police on Wednesday.

According to a statement from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence security) Bhopal, “All types of aerial objects such as drones, paragliders, hot air balloons, and other flying devices are strictly prohibited within a five-kilometre radius of Jamboree Maidan from 6 am to 4 pm on May 31.”

The statement further noted, “Any infringement of this order will be treated as a legal violation, and offenders will be subject to legal action under section 223 of the BNS.”

This event is particularly aimed at women, commemorating the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, a celebrated Maratha queen, and all security measures will be executed by female officers.

More than 1,500 women commandos and 3,000 personnel have been assigned to ensure the venue's security, with traffic and crowd management strategies being implemented to prevent any disruptions.

Senior IPS officer Sonali Mishra will supervise a comprehensive, multi-layered security framework. Out of the 90 senior security officials deployed, 47 are women, including four Superintendents of Police (SPs) and 11 additional SPs.

Women personnel will lead command posts, monitoring rooms, and convoy security, and the helipad within the event area will also be managed by female officers.

Over two lakh women affiliated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from across Madhya Pradesh are expected to attend the event.

The state BJP unit has organized the deployment of over 3,000 women workers to assist the security teams.

During this occasion, PM Modi will also unveil metro rail projects in Indore, inaugurate new ghats along the Shipra River in Ujjain, and lay the foundation stone for the Singhasth Mahaparv 2028 preparations.
