Namo Bharat Train Launch in Delhi This Sunday; PM Modi to Unveil Rs 12,000 Crore Development Initiatives

New Delhi, Jan 4 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is prepared to inaugurate and lay the foundation for a multitude of development projects in the national capital, valued at over Rs 12,200 crore this Sunday. He will also ride the Namo Bharat Train from Sahibabad RRTS Station to New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station at approximately 11 a.m.
After the train journey and project inaugurations, PM Modi will address a public gathering in the capital at 1 p.m.
The Namo Bharat corridor connecting Delhi and Meerut is being developed at an impressive cost of Rs 4,600 crore, and once completed, it will represent a significant advancement in regional connectivity.
PM Modi will officially launch the 13 km segment of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar. This inauguration will provide the national capital with its inaugural Namo Bharat connectivity.
This initiative will greatly facilitate travel between Delhi and Meerut, benefiting millions by offering high-speed and comfortable transportation.
Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate a 2.8 km segment connecting Janakpuri and Krishna Park as part of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, valued at around Rs 1,200 crore. This will be the first section of the Delhi Metro Phase-IV to be inaugurated, positively impacting areas in West Delhi such as Krishna Park, parts of Vikaspuri, and Janakpuri.
In another significant development, the Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for the 26.5 km Rithala-Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, estimated at around Rs 6,230 crore.
This corridor will link Rithala in Delhi to Nathupur (Kundli) in Haryana, improving connectivity between North-West Delhi and Haryana. Key areas benefiting from this will include Rohini, Bawana, Narela, and Kundli.
PM Modi will also lay the foundation for a modern facility for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Rohini, with an anticipated construction cost of approximately Rs 185 crore.
