Namo Bharat Train's Delhi Route Launch on Sunday; PM Modi to Unveil Major Projects

New Delhi, Jan 4 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is preparing to inaugurate and lay the foundation for several vital development projects in the national capital, valued at over Rs 12,200 crore this Sunday. Additionally, he will take a ride on the Namo Bharat Train from Sahibabad RRTS Station to New Ashok Nagar RRTS Station around 11 a.m.
After the train journey and the inauguration of development initiatives, PM Modi will address a public rally in the capital at 1 p.m.
The Namo Bharat corridor connecting Delhi and Meerut is being constructed at an impressive cost of Rs 4,600 crore and will represent a significant advancement in improving regional connectivity.
PM Modi will inaugurate the 13 km stretch of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar. This inauguration will provide the national capital with its inaugural Namo Bharat connectivity.
This development will greatly facilitate travel between Delhi and Meerut, benefiting millions of individuals by offering high-speed and comfortable transportation.
Furthermore, PM Modi will inaugurate a 2.8 km segment between Janakpuri and Krishna Park of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, valued at approximately Rs 1,200 crore. This will be the first segment of Delhi Metro Phase-IV to be inaugurated, aiding areas in West Delhi like Krishna Park, parts of Vikaspuri, and Janakpuri.
In other significant initiatives, the Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for the 26.5 km Rithala-Kundli section of Delhi Metro Phase-IV, estimated at about Rs 6,230 crore.
This corridor will link Rithala in Delhi to Nathupur (Kundli) in Haryana, improving connectivity between North-West Delhi and Haryana. Key areas benefiting from this include Rohini, Bawana, Narela, and Kundli.
Additionally, PM Modi will lay the foundation for a modern facility for the Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI) in Rohini, to be constructed at an anticipated cost of around Rs 185 crore.
