Begusarai, Sep 7 (NationPress) With the Assembly elections in Bihar just a month away, political fervor is intensifying throughout the state.
On Sunday, a significant NDA workers’ conference was held by Begusarai MLA Kundan Kumar at the Co-operative College campus, attracting a crowd of thousands.
The event featured notable NDA figures, including former Union Minister Ramkripal Yadav and Bihar’s Road Construction Minister Nitin Nabin, who were greeted with enthusiasm as chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” resonated throughout the venue.
During his speech, Ramkripal Yadav launched a fierce critique of the Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, labeling him as a mere follower of Rahul Gandhi.
“Tejashwi Yadav is currently applauding behind Rahul Gandhi, which is damaging his reputation. This was evident during the Voter Adhikar Yatra, where he was driving a vehicle while Rahul Gandhi enjoyed the ride,” Yadav stated.
He went on to say, “This was not the case with Lalu Prasad Yadav. He was allied with Congress but never acted like this. He consistently stood side by side with the top leadership of Congress,” he added.
Bihar’s Road Construction Minister, Nitin Nabin, emphasized the developmental achievements of the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government, contrasting the current scenario with the past.
“Previously, it took 7 hours to travel from Patna to Begusarai. Today, that same journey is accomplished in just 2 hours,” he noted, stating that this change signifies the end of ‘Jungle Raj’ and the onset of development under the NDA.
Nabin pointed out that both rural and urban road infrastructure has significantly improved, with four-lane highways being constructed and various expressways emerging, supported by the Centre.
The leaders urged party workers to remain united and ensure a resounding victory for the NDA alliance in the forthcoming elections.
They stressed that the citizens of Bihar have witnessed tangible improvements in infrastructure, roads, and governance, which they must now reinforce through their votes.
