New Delhi, April 8 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday conducted raids at several sites associated with Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, throughout Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
NIA teams executed thorough searches at properties linked to suspects and individuals connected with Goldy Brar and US-based gangster Randeep Malik related to the grenade attacks that took place in December 2024 at Warehouse Club and Human Club in Sector 29, Gurugram.
During the operation, numerous electronic devices and other incriminating evidence were retrieved from eight locations across different districts in both states, according to an NIA statement.
These materials are currently under examination by the NIA to uncover insights into the overarching conspiracy surrounding the bombing incident, which involved the seizure of arms, ammunition, and explosive materials from those implicated in the attack.
Following the grenade incident, gangster Rohit Godara publicly claimed responsibility via a social media post.
Investigations by the NIA subsequently revealed that Malik and the designated terrorist Goldy Brar, who had previously threatened and attempted to extort funds from club owners, orchestrated the grenade attacks. The inquiry into the case, which was registered on January 2, remains ongoing.
Goldy Brar is also implicated in the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala.
A native of Muktsar Sahib in Punjab, Brar traveled to Canada on a student visa in 2017. He is an active member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and has been named among Canada's 25 most-wanted fugitives.
Wanted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for murder, Goldy Brar's name appeared in the 'Bolo (Be On the Lookout) Program'. A life-sized cutout of him was showcased among the 25 fugitives at Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square in 2023.
