NIA Charges Ninth Suspect in BKI-Related Gurugram Bomb Attacks
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, March 19 (NationPress) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially brought charges against an additional individual in the 2024 incident involving bomb attacks on two clubs in Gurugram, executed by affiliates of the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organization, as confirmed by an agency representative.
Ramdutt is identified as the ninth individual to face charges in this matter, which is associated with the Canada-based designated terrorist Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, as stated by the official.
The NIA has submitted a supplementary charge sheet against him to its Special Court located in Panchkula (Haryana), establishing his connections with Goldy Brar's close associate, Rohit Godara, and the gangster Randeep Malik, who is operating abroad, according to the announcement.
Previously, in 2025, the agency had charged Goldy Brar and seven others in this case, and Ramdutt has been charged under the relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
Investigations by the NIA indicated that the accused is part of a broader terror syndicate and plays a significant role in facilitating the activities of its members.
It was alleged that Ramdutt provided a safe haven near the Chambal region for another accused who was involved in launching explosives at the two clubs, as revealed during the NIA's inquiry.
The Warehouse Club and Human Club in Sector-29, Gurugram (Haryana), were subjected to attacks on December 10, 2024.
After taking over the investigation following the terror bombing, the NIA has uncovered a significant conspiracy orchestrated by a wider network of operatives functioning under the guidance of international terror handlers.
The counter-terror agency continues its efforts to identify additional conspirators and trace the financial channels that support the dismantling of the terror network in the area.
In December 2025, the NIA also charged three more individuals in connection with the bombings at the two Gurugram clubs.
Vijay, Ajit Sehrawat, and Vinay were indicted under the pertinent provisions of the BNS, Explosive Substances Act, and UA (P) Act for their roles in the planning and conspiracy surrounding the bombings.
The supplementary charge sheet against them was filed before the NIA Special Court in Panchkula (Haryana).
